Sarfraz is a game-changer: Misbah-ul-Haq

Pakistan cricket team skipper Misbah-ul-Haq has praised wicket-keeper batsman Sarfraz Ahmed for his daring approach towards batting and has called him a game-changer.

“He (Sarfraz) is very talented and he has the ability to change the direction of the match in Pakistan’s favor,” Misbah said.
Former cricketer and chief selector Salahuddin Ahmed Sallu has compared him with former Australian wicket keeper batsman Adam Gilchrist and India’s MS Dhoni, who are both known for their attacking approach and run getting skills.
“Let us hope he continues to perform like them. Presently he has shown that he is a reliable keeper and batsman,” Sallu said.
Meanwhile, injured Misbah has also said that he would soon return to cricket well before World Cup. He also hoped that Pakistan’s top spin duo Saeed Ajmal and Mohammad Hafeez are cleared of illegal bowling and return for Pakistan’s World Cup campaign.

Sallu also said that the ban on the two bowlers is a huge blow on Pakistan’s World Cup cricket campaign. “It is huge blow for Pakistan cricket. However, I would say if Hafeez is not cleared for bowling even then he should be selected for the final squad.”
